FB March 2021

The first two are definitely true without a doubt.

As for the great cars:
A friend of mine had a Beetle where the heat was always running on full power. That was a little sub par when we ended up in a major traffic jam at 100 degree weather. My balls have never been that schweddie again.

Another friend owned an old Opel(GM) where the only working gear was the reverse. He drove through town with his head over his shoulder.

My first car was a Citroen CX Diesel with 55bhp. The giant check engine light was always on. As soon as it went off I know something was wrong and the car died 5 minutes later.

So yeah, we owned great cars…just not like one in the picture :)

Germany will lose Angela Merkel and Jogi Loew within months later this year.

Bundeskanzler and Bundestrainer gone. The roaring twenties will be a whole new era.

As for you applicants:
Which one is the harder job?

Do you rather deal with scrutiny every single day and shake the hands of some real scumbags or do you want to answer to 80 million coaches that all know how to do your job better?

That’s for you to decide. Send your applications to Frankfurt or Berlin and they’ll take things from there ;)

Michelle went to the other King Sooper’s today and I was just at my desk. We are fine. But that’s not true for all. At least ten people that just went grocery shopping lost their lives. They won’t come home to their loved ones. Because a murderer killed them with a firearm.

The impact of that will be felt. Boulder is meant to be a rather safe sanctuary. Not a good day in the neighborhood.

Come on! We can do this!

It’s what the vast majority of American wants. How can we allow that any efforts to increase gun safety keep getting stalled by a small majority?

If that requires changing or ditching the filibuster then so be it. It would actually be a worthy cause. Generations to come should say “thank you”.

Vax time. Of course Michelle brought her ukulele and played a little song for the nurses. One down, one more to go.

We even have a video of Michelle singing with the nurses. #vaccinationjam #illegalfestivity #creatingmemories

Whenever I see skateboarders doing their thing I’m wondering how much they enjoy crushing their bones. I must have missed something in my younger years. Usually it hurt when I broke a wrist or an arm.

This kid on a steep road, right on the heart of Denver was certainly having a different perception.

Michelle and I went to the memorial site last night. One week after the shooting. Visiting this place makes you fully understand the deep impact on the community of this horrible act.

I’m sharing my pictures since many of you can’t go because you are simply too far away.

This is most probably not much different from other memorial sites of the past and the ones we’ll have in the future as the insanity of mass shootings is going on. It just has a little bit of Boulder sprinkled on.

This is merely a snapshot that shows the pain.

I wish these pictures wouldn’t exist. Unfortunately, we can just change our history by time traveling. We have to face it and draw our conclusions.
